Review: Friend Trip
by Sara Ney & M.E. Carter
“A best friend is someone you can trust; they make you laugh, they hold you when you cry… they drive you to the sex shop when you’re trying to spice up your marriage.”
Becky used to be “the fun one.”
But after five kids, yes five, and ten years of marriage, she is becoming everything she swore she’d never be; complacent, content and boring in the bedroom.
Determined to spice things up her marriage, she leans on the one person besides her husband she can always count on for advice; her best friend Janine.
Outgoing and always outspoken Janine has issues of her own; she is tired of living the single life.
After a bitter divorce leaves her struggling to find love again, she’s no longer content coming home to an empty apartment, and living vicariously through her best friends love life.
Online dating, confused husbands, and flirting with random porn stars lead to nothing but trouble.
Because nothing with these two is easy—and nothing ever goes according to plan.
Ever. At all. Not even close.

The humor in this book will keep you in stitches throughout the entire story.
It was like I was on the trip with them, and it was definitely a trip of a lifetime.
I absolutely loved it. Just like the teasers say, “We all have that one friend…”
It’s so true, and I think Friend Trip is a very true representation of what true friendship is.
It’s ugly, funny, loving, and loyal. If you want a great read with more humor than you can handle, then Friend Trip is the read you want.
I cannot wait for more from these two incredible authors.
About Sara & M.E.
Sara is a purveyor of all things witty & romantic, I love: iced latte’s, traveling, and bright, bold colors. On any given day, you can find me in my office, lovingly gazing at my bookshelf or shuffling my Bic felt-tip pen collection. I love hand writing letters, and sarcasm.
I live in the midwest, but “Will Write for Travel,” and believe everyone should follow their dreams, no matter how big or small. My favorite authors include Cindy Miles, S Walden, Suzanne Enoch, Tessa Dare (to name a few). I am a glutton for Historical, RomCom, Sports and MC romance.
One husband. Two daughters. Plenty of chaos.
“Mother, reader, storyteller – ME Carter never set out to write books.
But when a friend practically forced a copy of Twilight into her hands, the love of the written word she had lost as a child was rekindled.
With a story always rolling around in her head, it should come as no surprise that she finally started putting them on paper. She lives in Texas with her four children, Mary, Elizabeth, Carter and Bug, who sadly was born long after her pen name was created, and will probably need extensive therapy because of it.”
