Summary

Rowan Callahan has just had her entire life flipped upside down.  Her walls are slowly starting to crumble when a plane crashes in downtown Chicago causing everything to go dark.

“What the hell just happened?” ~Rowan

With only a few possessions and a backpack with all of the supplies she needs, Rowan takes off to the only place she knows she will truly be safe.  Her childhood home.

It doesn’t take long for Ro to notice that the world has been thrust back in to the 19th century.  No cars, phones, stores or anything that once required electricity.  Staying off the roads is her best bet, so she can avoid any looters.  A noise in the woods piques her curiosity.  After finding exactly what is making the noise Rowan is scared not only for her life but also of the life she is seeing in front of her. The men she is looking upon are the worst of mankind she has ever seen, and now due to her clumsiness they know she is there.

It doesn’t take long for Ro to fall and hurt herself while running away from the crazy inbred rednecks chasing her.  Sitting quietly trying to assess the damage to her now painfully aching foot, Rowan doesn’t hear the footsteps creeping up behind her. Fear temporarily paralyzes her when a hand snakes around covering her mouth, a very big hand.

“I’m going to pick you up, and you will not give me any shit, and you will not struggle.”~Graham

Graham Buchanan and Zachariah Sawyer have been best friends and brothers in arms for a long time.  Living off the grid in a ranch style deer lease left to Graham by his uncle when he passed.  It didn’t take long for the two brothers to realize that the world had just gone to hell and things were about to get much worse.  With their other brothers in arms all former Marines they guard their new home and keep it safe from any outsiders. Including extremely attractive ones who may or may not be injured.

“Who are you? And where the hell am I?” ~Rowan

The two men had the safety of others to contend with and getting answers from the girl that literally just landed in their laps was top priority.  For Graham at least.  For Zach, top priority was seeing to Rowan and making she she got her foot taken care of.

“We’ll get you all fixed up, darlin’. Don’t you worry ’bout a thing.”~ Zach

After realizing that Rowan was in fact telling the truth, Graham and Zach began getting closer and closer to Rowan.  As friends and brothers in arms the two men shared everything.  Including women.  And now their sights were set on Rowan.

With Rowans determination to reach her family, Zach and Graham have a big decision to make.  Do they let her leave?  Or do they make her stay?

Once again Meghan has outdone herself.  I love a good Ménage and Meghan gives us that.  I would have liked more details about the sex involved but I’m a freak like that (Don’t judge me)! But in this world where everything has changed and the world is back to pre electronics age I can’t imagine two better protectors than Zach and Graham.  Graham the big bad ALPHA and Zach the sweet caring ALPHA , what in the hell is better than that! I loved it.  Meghan is definitely one of my favorites, especially because she never disappoints! Flash Bang can attest to this.  I can’t wait for Hard Charger.

Wow, why had I not heard about this book before now? Meghan March is one of my favorite authors, but I had no clue she had a book out before the Beneath Series came about! I love reading about ménages, but am generally turned off by post apocalyptic type books. Don’t let that get in the way of Flash Bang! I absolutely loved this book! The sexual tension, the threesome, the sex… Hot hot hot! I cannot wait to dig into Hard Charger, a novella companion to Flash Bang! I have a feeling it’s going to be just as hot!
If there’s one thing Meghan knows how to do and do well it’s write a good sex scene, this book was no exception! Go read it!

meghan march headshotMeghan March is the author of contemporary and erotic romance novels.

Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had. She loves hearing from her readers at meghanmarchbooks@gmail.com.

Sounds like a great read. It looks a lot like the tv show, Jericho, but an adult version. I loved Jericho, I think I may love this book!
